Mark Johnson

Our vision is to be recognized as a company that always puts relationships and integrity first.

I guess you could say construction is in my blood. Nearly a century ago, my great grandfather was a carpenter and home builder in Quincy, Illinois.

My grandfather was a general contractor and land developer and my father built and renovated homes for as long as I can remember. I’ve been working on construction job sites since I was a kid, honing my skills and learning about all aspects of home construction, from foundations to finishing.

I graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Technology.  Since 1990, I’ve worked in the Bloomington/Normal home building industry. 

Like my father and grandfathers before me, I always knew I wanted to own my own business; so, in 2013 I founded Landmark Construction.

It’s exciting to see my vision become a reality. Landmark has grown to an amazing team of people who share the same values, passions and commitment to excellence + integrity.
